To Keep your PC or Mobile phone safe simply follow these steps and safely escape from Ransome ware or WannaCry virus.
- Do not open e-mails that sent by unknown people or unknown email IDs. The above mentioned attributes are more likely to exist in these mails only. So if you received such mails, you should not be open those emails especially attachments, links etc and you delete them immediately.
- Don't try to open emails which are available for users from .wncry, wannaDecryptor, Wanna Decryptor 1.0, Wana Decrypt0r, Wana Decryptor, WANNACRY, WanaCrypt0r, WANACRY !, WNcry @ 2ol type subject or attachment. You have to delete them immediately permanent.
- Microsoft's Windows operating systems have also been reported to have been spread by the Ransomware is spread through the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol. So that protocol should be disabled. For Windows, users have to go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Windows Features and remove the check marks available for the SMB 1.0 / CIFS File Sharing Support on the list. - Clean up the junk files, history and cookies from the computer. Software such as CCleaner is useful. Because of this, viruses are not stored in junk files.
